PRITHVI PARIVAR GATHERING was organized on 9-11 December 2022 by the Commission for Ecology of the Conference of Catholic Bishops of India (CCBI) and the Goa Diocesan Commission for Ecology at Saint Joseph Vaz Spiritual Renewal Centre. On 9th at 5.30 pm, the Session started with Context Setting & Icebreaker , then continued with a session on Eco spirituality animated by Fr. Anthony & Eucharistic Adoration by Fr. Balmax Convenor, DCE. On 10th at 7.30 we began the day with the Eucharistic celebration then continued with an explanation of Exposure Programme . Then we departed to the venue for exposure programme. The Goa Diocesan Commission for Ecology animated the visits to Sancoale mangroves, Chicalim megalithic caves (local lunch), Chicalim Bay windowpane oysters, Vasco coal terminal – Mormugao Port Trust, Bogmallo beach. At 8.30 pm we returned to the venue. Next morning at 9 am we gathered for group work and presentation . After which the forming of Prithvi Parivar & Eco Youth Movements core team. The session then concluded with vote of thanks.
