INTERGENERATIONAL SOLIDARITY 2022

Auxilium Skills Academy join hands in
solidarity to celebrate International Youth Day on August 12, 2022, with the theme “INTERGENERATIONAL
SOLIDARITY”.
The chief guest for the event was Rev Sr Rita Dora Thomas, FMA (Superior, MYC-
Wadala). There were eighty youth presents for the event from Web Design, Graphic Design and
ITES-BPO batch. The event started with a prayer moment. The youth from different domain
courses performed a welcome dance, gave a speech. At the end a quiz competition was
organized for the youth and gifts were distributed to the participants. Later, the chief guest
addressed the youth that they should share their knowledge with other and help others to grow in
life. At the end Mrs. Rosemary Daniel (Centre Manager) proposed the vote of thanks. Snacks were
distributed to the students.

Solidarity across generations is key for sustainable development. We must collaborate to foster
successful and equitable intergenerational relations and partnerships to ensure “no one is left
behind. On August 12, 2022, Mr. Surendar Sawardekar conducted a session on Self Defense which
made the students aware about their safety is in their hands. He taught them different stunts such
as kidney attack, rib attack, etc.
