Green Tuesday at Auxilium Skills Academy, Wadala

Keeping in mind the Youth the pastoral project “Care for the earth”. Auxilium Skills Academy decides to celebrate every Tuesday Green Day. On July 27, 2021 Green Tuesday was observed with zeal and enthusiasm at Auxilium Skills Academy. Forty five youth including Staff were dressed in Green. The celebration started with a prayer on Mother Earth by Ms. Alifiya (ITES students). Mr. Lenzil Fernandes (Facilitator) beautifully explained the purpose of celebrating and creating awareness about our relationship with Mother Earth. Sr. Magdeline Sequeira (Manager, Auxilium Convent), Sr. Rosaline Pereira (CEO, Auxilium Skills Academy), and Fr. Jerome an intern at ASA addressed the students how we can plant saplings, save water and energy for a better tomorrow. A song and video on saving Mother was shown to the youth. An activity to plant fenugreek seeds was given to the Youth. A donation initiative, wherein each youth will donate any amount and after which the fund will be utilized to donate LED lights to their family. After the photo session the students had Green lunch along with their colleagues. It was indeed a green and healthy day.
